Tyre on and quick shake down run
Not ideal bedding in brakes with a new front tyre, wet roads and no abs as the sensor ring is not ready yet.
But felt good and nothing fell off or pitched me over the bars

Custurd got a wash & a chain clean adjust n Lube.
Neu Red got fired up, run up to temp, till fan cut in.
Rusty the Storm got attacked with various hammers, impact drivers, hacksaws, cold chisles & drills. Conventional tools used as well... Bits stripped off but not without a fight in most cases...
Next week downpipes & try to drop the motor... Gawd help us...

It’s got a bit of that about it,

but it was always an unconventional beast even as standard, and I liked the old 990 KTM SMT in the past, so thus is it’s modern solution.

There is a ring, Al.
It puckers up every time you pull the brake lever.

Good work Al
It will interesting to hear what you think of this mod once we have some better weather and dry roads so you can get some miles under your belt
Chris.

Couple snaps from last ride for season, weather was cold and a little rain. But no snow and awesome mountain roads.
Other bike is my friends 86 VMAX it moves in straight line but rubbish in the corners

What, no bins in the picture?
VMax was one of my favorite bikes when I was wishing a lot for another 2 wheel ride years ago.
Your yellow Storm is gorgeous and I wish I could have had that color when I bought my FireHawk. I love that yellow color ever since I had my Paseo for 12 years which was called the highlighter due to the bright yellow color.
Didn't mean to hijack the thread but yellow brings back some great memories and now you know.
