Very ‘Italian Job’ Chris! “You’re only supposed to blow the bloody tyre up!”

Funny you should mention that film Kev, I only watched it again earlier this year
Chris.

How much are you planning to move them by?
A couple of mm elongation would have been enough, I would have thought.
Mind you, they're even lighter now!

As I have not done the cams on a VTR I had to guess a bit. So what I ended up doing was copying what Falicon did with the gears the used to sell. I only have 2 of them ( the exhaust gears)which lead me to make up a complete set.

Replaced the chain and sprockets, plus a welcome parcel containing replacement forks arrived. I spent ages with parts diagrams and I'm 99% certain I can strip them and build them back up with my stantions and internals. It'd be a massive shame to waste the new parts they've had.

Finally got the opportunity to tinker with my new bike
Valve clearances, exhaust, SAS removal kit (that's a pair system to you boys!), O2 sensor removal kit, ASV long levers, Quickshifter, loctite and torque clutch springs (they are known to undo themselves). One of the throttle body rubbers looked a bit iffy so I have a replacement on order.
All in all a good day spent tinkering and listening to tunes, it has been far far too long!
