Duffy Saw some strange circumferential stripes on It when we were at the crematorium.

So now I am Home, I can tell you it was the bloody carcass !

There has not been a burn out, this is what it looked like when I got home from Wickys funeral.

And given I was riding on some flooded soaking roads and rainstorm, the wet grip was still good!

At least some of the roads had a ray on yesterday.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Pairs removed and blanked off, vacuum gauge take off permanently fitted and carb pipes placed in the downward position. Still getting heavy popping on decel from the blue flames, having difficulty getting a steady carb sync.
Carb farting at 3000rpm is a pain otherwise its pulling like a train.
Exhaust has no leaks after a few attempts to set the graphite seal in the rear header. Might put std pipes back on for rest of year, I think the carbs could do with rebuild.
Any ideas :?: :?:

Pulled 'em all out...

Drained the fule out of Custurd & took the battery off.

Put the batt on Blonkey...we have power....

Put some exhaust on it...turns over but drained batt.

Stuck it on charge then thought It might be a good idea to put some fule in it DOH...!

Faffed around doing some other stuff...One charge later...Blonkey lives !

Ticks over with out choke once warm did spit some fule out of an over flow but not leaking any where...

Issues to sort Rev counter is not working...The speedo works...will try another set of clocks on it to check if it's the clocks or something else...

PO at some point had fitted an LED rear light & has properly bodged the loom at the rear... The light works but he's wired in the indis but they flash red not orange...Which is strange...Cos of the feked wiring I cant just fit some std indis So looks like the loom is gonna get swappd...

Did some bits on Blonkey, swapped over the rear wheel from Custurd as that has a better tyre than the 2014 era one on it at the mo...

Do the fronts on the morrow...

Sorted out a replacement swingarm as Blonkey's one is horribly marked up & it needs a linkage refresh so kill two birds with one stone & just swap the lot.

Got another FJ 1200 it had a few bits on it like luggage and engine bars and better fairing infills I wanted for mine.
I plan to rob it of said parts and move it on. Image
