Very nice and that reminds me, I need some 6mm low pressure brake hose for my MC reservoir.

It's not much but probably enough?

Today fitted battery I bought off Marty, pressed button 3 times and it fired up. Not bad for being stood for 6 years. Need a rear tyre then MoT. It will be a different ride to the zzr1400 and Benelli Tornado Tre that I've been bought since VTR was last on road. Not going to be touring on this anymore so top box panniers and racks will be sold.

More tank fiddling...

Cleaned up the now nicely derusted Black tank off Rusty the Storm.

Spent far too long getting the old sticky pads off the tank from the old tank pad.

It's a nice carbon one but wasn't stuck on very well & was coming off. So took it off compleatly cleaned it up & the tank, will give the tank a polish then refit the tank pad.

Took the sended & petcock off Custurd fitted the sender...

Was going to use some inline filtters before fitting the new £40 8O OEM tank filter but managed to get the old one out of Custurd without damage...

Question is will it go back in. I've stuck it in the freezer hoping it will shrink enough to fit...

Gave up due to foot throb, packed up went in watched Moto GP qualli...

Not that kind of foot you pervert...

The foot throb of the kind like thinking it would be a good idea to kick a milk crate thats on the road whilst on your bike...

Only a thicky thick person would try that thinking it's a good idea...

Stripped the loom off Blonkey...

The tank filter in the freezer trick didn't work so I'll fit some inline fillters to start off with...

Nice little shake down ride on the FJ after fettling today.
Fitted Silver Spot Calipers off of a XSR700 as I prefer the look compared to the R1 blue spots I had fitted.
Also fitted a Hagon rear shock and 120mm dog bones to Jack the rear by 25mm and while I was at it added a sheet of rubber to protect the shock from crud. Also fitted a pair of engine bars.

Now it feels much more stable and planted in corners. ImageImageImage
