That were a right laugh, sho 'nuff.
I worked with two owners checking valve clearances- all remarkably within tolerance, so no shims needed.
Fitted one set of manual CCT's, a set of stick coils, and a 6mm shock spacer.
And assisted Jonesy to finish those bleeding brakes.

Found out that mine has a slight misfire, better get to the bottom of that at some stage.

Here's a couple of pics of the final rideout home: (some had had to leave earlier)

PMSL
That was so funny Tony's rag

I've done my thanks before getting here  http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 18&t=24724

Forgot to mention my suspension. Bike handles like a different bike with spacer, so much more manoeuvrability. I expect the air in the tyres helped as well. Superb cheap mod, and I don't think I need a sidestand. The lean is not as bad as I imagined.

Have Fun.

It's not a cheap a mod as you imagine....Rear 16 psi Front 10 psi.

So that's A fiver for the pump loan....Two quid per psi, 40 psi to rear that's 24 psi = £48, 30 psi in the front that's another 20 psi = 40 + 50p per leg pump that's 1069 x .50 =£534.5, then there's the 4 coffees at 1.50 but as you had 3 spoons of coffee in each cup that's 4.50 per cup......so that's.......another £18 oh plus the loan of the watering can & the water re -the spilt break fluid, I'm on a bloody water meter you, know lets call that £15...So £660.5 + MAT or Mac Added Tax...comes to £666, that's a nice round figure. The invoice is in the post Sir.

So not exactly a cheap mod then. Still it does stop & go round corners better now so well worth it.

Thank you all for attending, despite spending most of the first hour in the kitchen slaving away over hot bacon, I had a great day.

Thank you Chris for sorting my callipers out & persevering with the bleeding & of course sorting out the other 3 guys breaks. Top man.

Some pics are up in the who's who section, I will post more on the morrow, as I'm now off to stuff my face with biscuits.

Hope you all got home safe, it was a bit windy out there!

Cheers guys...Same again next year?

Mac
