I actually got out for a spin (1st this year) on my VTR Tuesday gone :D I had to pay £175.9 per litre (we just as well call it £1.76, after all what is 1/10 of a penny anyway  ) for Super Unleaded.

For those of us old enough not to be conned by this litre pricing, that's almost £8.00 a gallon 8O

Ah, but that was for four star, the good stuff.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Stripped out a stater reduction gear thingy out of the scrap lump.

Cut the frame off Custurds old motor.

So now have two lumps sitting in the way anyone want them before I call in the scrap man ?

Sadly I can remember it being cheaper than 50p a gallon, but then I did have a Saturday morning job selling petrol at a filling station. I was only 16yrs old and still at school, but I did have my very first moped which I rode to the garage

You're getting there Lloydie

Good to see the sun again, although we had a lot of Easterly wind again today kind of ruining it,

Started bike up for first time since coolant hoses and manual ccts fitted, she started after 5 stabs at the button.
No rattles as such, ran up to temp topping coolant and checking oil no leaks all good. :D

On start up from running temp a screech on turnover then disappeared I belief this the manual ccts being a little tight.

Need to check again from cold tomorrow to replicate, question is how I deal with the problem have read so many posts on the subject head is in the shed.
Any advice will be well received.
