I can imagine the ride-out did you good :eh:

Glad it's back up and running Fabio. I'm trying to decide what to do about mine too, just a shame I can't ride it to help. Or find anything like dry weather.

Some news from the Czech Republic has brightened my day. A little bling goes a long way to pacifying a spurned partner.

Is that a new bottom yoke by any chance?

Meanwhile in my garage I took theRD 400 drag bike off the ramp and maxed the big KTM on. There has been an oil leak from the back rocker cover that leaks onto the rear exhaust header pipe, so as that needed investigation, so I may as well change the 4 spark plugs and check the valve clearances while I am in there.

Fecking bloody bastid h3ll, that was not an easy job! Had to remove a lotofstuff to get close to the heads and then remove even more to get clearance to get the plug top coils out!

Only good news was the clearances were still ok, so I don’t have to take the cams out……. That looks like double th3 work

You would only have to leave it outside down here, it would wash itself

Good man in getting out

You've been busy Al
That is good news on the valve clearances. No wonder they charge so much in the bike shops, it sounds like a lot of work.

Did you workout what was causing the oil leak?

Chris.

Chris, based on the leak pattern, I think the oil is leaking from the breather pipe elbow that comes out of the rear cam cover and up to the airbox, so have ordered 2 new orings.

Obviously I won’t know if I am right till it’s all back together, so I will be gutted if it’s not fixed…….wont be happy taking all that wiring off again

its a case of getting back on the horse, now this riding bikes iv been doing for a while, like since 7 years of age but that crash was different, its strange but it feels weird riding again, god knows why, not like i havnt crashed before  but it just feels different, kinda like riding with no feel for whats going on under me :wtf: .

i thought it was just me but a few weeks ago was out with a passenger and at the coffee stop said passenger actually said to me, wtf you at the day? it was described to me like sitting on a bike with an L rider..

is it the actual bike i dont trust anymore? god knows ..............
