Operation Storm Lunatics in London 21st of sept
Re: Operation Storm Lunatics in London 21st of sept
if you do open the throttle when doing the kill switch backfire ................ make sure you shut it again before you flick the kill switch back on!!!!!!!!!!! just saying otherwise you will be practicing your backfires and your wheelies at the same time
on mine it works fine on closed throttle and just 1sec off and back on

I think someone should compile a 'lunatic' list for this 'lunatics in London' ride, I.e - "must do's" - "can do's" & "do it, we'll stand back and watch through the gaps in our fingers with gritted teeth!"

Make the news for keeping Queenie awake all night
Drag race to 30 from every traffic light
Completely unnecessary over-taking of the person in front of you because their bike sounds horrible
Rub into Jamie that nice gold canister on my bike
Compliment Virt on how sexy his Firestorm looks
Let Virt ride your bike because 33bhp sucks ass
Can Do:
Wheelies
Kill-switch backfires
Stoppies
Have fun
Do it, we'll stand back and watch through the gaps in our fingers with gritted teeth!

no real do's and don't guys, try and stay together as a group, make sure your bikes in good road worthy condition, that includes road tax. theres always loads of police in London, but unless they see you doing something dangerous, they'll leave us alone.
do bring a camera or phone with camera.
we will make lots of noise, that goes without saying...
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Must do - explain to Virt very clearly, little gold canisters are useless in London, with 33bhp and should be removed and forwarded to the following address...
Jamie,
3, JUST GIVE ME house
YOUR REAR SHOCK street

Re: Operation Storm Lunatics in London 21st of sept
My fan has never kicked in yet I may have to go for a run tomorrow and leave it running just to check it works lol
Re: Operation Storm Lunatics in London 21st of sept
It should kick in just after the halfway mark on the temp gauge. if if does not then check the fan works by earthing out the switch at the rear of the right rad. Also check the connector at the front of the right rad and that there are no obstructions in the fan housing itself. You may want to change the fuse as well. As Al's fuse appeared to be OK but when he changed it things worked.
There's a lot of stop starts and a bit of heavy traffic in central London so it's vital that cooling system work properly or you will start overheating.
