pick it up to find he didnt like my hanging brackets so he made new ones (free of charge)

Hey Lloydie, did you strip the entire bike down to get the frame painted black? I guess you would have to if its powder coated.. Nice number boards ;)

no the engine would come out so i painted it for now .

They look cracking mate. What was the diameter you had to grow the link pipes out to fit the aprillia akras?

I am still on the look out for some wih 50mm inlets, shame I didn't win the blackbird ones :(

60mm i did want them done in stages or the middle bit of the link pipe coned from 50mm up to the 60mm but he did it like that look ok but not as i really wanted it tbh
but they will do .
al i only paid £130 for these cans with the straps :lol:
the links cost £80 and £80 in fuel 8O

Found out that the 06/07 ZZR1400 uses twin silencers and the Akra link pipes are 52, just need to work out If someone could flare out the 50mm links to 52

Flare or Taper Al as flaring is basically just enlarging. I have been looking for somewhere that tapers tube but it is proving to be a bit more complicated. :(

For 1mm a side I think a flare will be ok, no need to taper?

Very nice job Lloydie, although I liked your design for the hangers. Really nice looking bike now fella, well done. :thumbup:
