As for your video, I have a feeling YMVirt mentioned something about getting that to work. YMV could be your man![]()
Chris.
Way to make it work is to not use any URL obfuscators (youtu.be being one of them), and to replace the https:// protocol with http:// (Not sure why https isn't supported but the framework this forum uses is written in PHP, don't really need to say anything else.)lloydie wrote:
Code: Select all
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v={{ video id }}
In the protocol part of the URL you make it use an unsecure connection via removing the suffix (which is the 19th letter of the alphabet).lloydie wrote:And in simple terms ?
Nope .Virt wrote:In the protocol part of the URL you make it use an unsecure connection via removing the suffix (which is the 19th letter of the alphabet).lloydie wrote:And in simple terms ?
You then ensure you are directly pointing at the video resource and not going through a proxy/obfuscater/whatever the hell they actually are.
Finally you remove all query parameters except for the one that provides the UID for the video resource you are requesting from the server (it has a key of 'v' and is followed by an alphanumeric string that also includes hyphens and underscores).
Better?
No not yet as my bank is still recovering from the raping I gave it to get piggy on the track for last time .Miztaziggy wrote:You got any other track days booked Lloydie?
