oh its gonna be cheap to run, Â£2 spark plugs, shaft drive( no chains weeeeee)..insurance disgusting at Â£61 lol..tyres Â£130 a pair for the best, or Â£60 for budget

..hard to believe im faster thru the twisties on this than the storm

..roll on a long hot summer

I was the same on my fazer 600

Much easier to ride quick through twisty bits. Easier to use the power, even though it had 20BHP+ less than the VTR. And about 35 less than the TL...

Still loving the big Suzook though!

well 2 weeks in..and ive clocked up 800 miles...absolutely loving it...sold my gear so happy riding in jeans and boots..cruising along at 50 is ace''u see so much more..just fitted 2 new tyres nice dunlop qualifiers with standout white lettering, looks bo'....averaging 130 miles before reserve(small tank)

..also new chips style american cop helmet came today...goggles on there way....living the dream..even used to the piss taking at squires now...there loss i say!!...i honestly reckon if alot of bikers over say 30 tried a cruiser and rode along without topping 65mph..they would see the light

now just need this rain to piss off

You got a point Lee. I'm thinking of another bike for touring but will keep the Storm because it's such great fun. No idea what to get at this point but needs to be relaxed ride and good mpg.

Which was exactly where I was a couple of years ago, so I bought a s/h TDM900. Just done 2700 miles round France and averaged 55mpg! A 230 mile potential tank range is so reassuring when petrol stations are more spread out (especially on Sunday afternoons!)

Glad I still have the Storm for sunny Sundays though
