Right

Checked the wiring last night, everything is ok except the two wires running from the inpulse generator plug connection to the ICM plug connection

These 2 wires are a yellow and a yellow/white, now on the yellow /white wires there is proper circuit as normal but the yellow wire the reading shows an open circuit

Now as I see it these wires dont branch off anywhere else

As said before I tried my mates icm and converter off his storm but made no difference, however, could it be the plug onto the Icm ????

More help please

The two wire you have described are the pulse generator wires that go to the clutch side casing not sure on exactly how it works bit it’s a signal generator that sends a pulse to the ICM to tell the coil to fire best bet with that is to pop in to your local Honda dealers and just ask what the residents should be when checking between the white and white and yellow wires “they’ll be hoping to sell you a new one if its sh*ged so they should help you

If you follow the wirers at the front of the clutch casing you’ll find that they travel across the middle of the V of the engine under the water bottle to a multi plug on the back of the left hand lower frame rail disconnect the multi plug there and check with a multi meter back to the ICM for continuity of the wires and then armed with the resistance value check the two wires leading to the pulse generator. My money would be on the latter if there’s a problem because of the heat and vibration of the engine and the wires running across the engine
