Got the grips on and shorten forks 1 1/2

looking good - wondered what that big roll of carpet looking stuff is on the bench, then realised it's a grip!

Well that's brakes stripped 'n' clean tonight. Very happy they were pretty good when I got the pistons out!
Blast with the air line and back on the bike now.

Paid for some new exhaust gaskets today and sump wash
Awaiting on pipe bender to come then I'll start the exhaust thing.
Trying to find some ol' looking speedo dials with out the use of the cable
That's be coming a ball ache :redface

Needing sheet of alloy to start the the base seat to

Not done any more yet

Got married on the 19th of may and only just got back from the honeymoon
Paris is crazy and so are the drivers to :eek2

Did enjoy it tho

Will make start on bmw tonight and find out why my storm is blowing out black smoke and alittle bit of blue smoke to :problem:

I was wondering why you haven't posted in a little while. Congrats on getting married. :beer: :beer:

I have been keeping an eye out while surfing for digital, analogue style speedo. No Luck, there just don't seem to be any. Weird.... :confused

That don't sound good mate. I would have the plugs out and check to see if they are all oiled up, could be valve stem oil seals. :roll: Lets hope not. Has the bike been sitting around for a while and not been fired up? might just need a good run. Check the oil level, make sure it's not overfilled.

Been so busy with work and other things its maddness.

Storm drinking oil so I got some pricing on head gaskets,all new seals,piston tongs
:( not cool!

Any way BMW is good
I lowerd the forks and sorting out muddy,round bar
Now sorting out brackets etc

Can't find a good speedo for love nor money now :(
Good news is a got a pipe bender tonight so I'll be doing the drag style pipes at some point.
Awaiting on some parts from Mr post man to!

So It's been a long weekend for me.
First up my Honda firestorm gave up on me front cylinder has gone bust. Then I hope on to my srad 750 3 miles later that went bang! All in the space of 12 hours :(

Good news is working on the bmw
So far I've made the rivets and sorted them and making spacers to fit the on the mounting points from brass to.
