The thing is, do these high tech plugs last as along as standard ones?

I take it your referring to the Brisk plugs. I have seen various reports of different mileage from 18,000, 20,000, 30,000, I even saw one report on a forum of them being able to do 60,000 
which I think is a bit optimistic. I would say 20,000 maybe a bit more is probably more like it. So as long if not longer than standard.
There are two types of Brisk plugs they have the LGS style which is the round electrode type and they have a racing plug which has a Silver electrode. It looks more like a regular plug but the electrode is massive. Silver is used for conductivity.
