I cannot believe this! I'm away from here for a few months and one of the storm corner stones is gone! I don't know what to say . I'm sure it's all been said but personally I feel I've lost a family member. BH has in one way or another helped to put right almost every f@ck up I have managed to achieve whilst encouraging me to continue my own delusion of mechanical excellence. It says alot about the bloke that I never met him face to face but I'm irrationally both up upset and angry at the same time.

To Martin's family, I know such a sudden loss can be disorientating and soul destroying, nothing anyone says can change what has happend. But if there was any doubt as to what an all round great guy he was you only have to see the genuine love for the guy from members of this forum. I'm sad for people that will not encounter him.

BH white night of the mechanically incompetent, champion of CCT replacement and king of the modified moped! An all round top bloke so sadly missed.

Whatever is decided for a sticker count me in.

i think banksy is on the right track
a sideways view of a helmet in black and white (martys colours )
then 'Martin Leyland 1964-2013 aka benny hedges done in a graffiti stile font (and any other info you guys think we need )
this way we don't infringe on copyrights and b&w will be easier to have made up
there's a space on my bike waiting for what ever you men decide
keep up the good work men
told you not to but oh no you knew better

My vote is for the above little helmet guy with his dates in it.
I don't feel the need for names as we won't forget him. Anyone who knew him would know what it means. I can see Benny agreeing with this. After all if he wanted his name everywhere he wouldn't have joined fb with "Vee vtr'

Many of his fb friends have set their profile pic as Bennys helmet guy. I'd proudly wear the sticker and enjoy telling anyone who asks about our silly big bugger who was taken from us.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

I like the idea of just the logo guy
With V33 VTR and 1964-2013-RIP
Simple but effective and not information overload

I agree....I think the helmet man should be as big as possible with minimum wording, which should be small and on the helmet

I vote for this too. Great design, simple but stands out too. I was gonna suggest the helmet and gloves pic he had as an avatar on facebook, but this is simpler and better in my opinion.

I'm sorry I never new "Benny" he sounds lie a well loved guy, same age as me too,but he's away doing other things now (R.I.P).
the wee helmet & gloves man with "BENNY" in the b&h font above or below would be a simple neat design.
cheers...

As it's going to printed on white vinyl for simplicity it will look something like this

Image

Edit: I've asked Mac to consider printing out a 50/50 split of 'black' and 'white' versions to suit different coloured bikes.
