Re: Bike insurance cheap?
I'm fairly confident that renthals are just a cosmetic upgrade, not performance, and cans alone don't offer much of an improvement - especially mid-range (Delkovic Stubby's)!bigtwinthing wrote: Swinton wont insure me as ive had "Mods done"! cans and Renthals!!!
I'm 32 (until next month), living (born and mostly bred) in the nice and quiet Swansea (almost bike theft central these days) and pay £100.99 TPFT with £150 excess on my 2000 model (W plate) with a number of years no claims.
Strange thing is, I pay as much (if not more) for car insurance now as I did when I was 21 in a car fully comp - £400 ish, and my bike insurance hasn't gone down a great deal considering - was thrashing a bandit 6 around at 20 (license automatically de-restricted after 2 years) with a 50/50 claim on my insurance for a collision with a granada a year previous and only paid £400 a year back then!
Never drove until 21 and that only came about after my mother pleaded with me to buy me a car after twisting the frame on the bandit (flipped it in 3rd - diesel patch or something!)... I obliged - for six months

I'm not death to power tools... If it breaks, it's obviously NOT a power tool!!!
