Bugger, I was hoping to sell you a loom, CDI and ignition boxes!
Good you found the problem.

Coming to Wales next w/e to show it off?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Firstly, I replaced the plugs with the newly arrived DPR9EIX-9, topped up the fuel funnel & hit the starter.

It ran spot on :redface

The youtube link will not work by removing the "s" from "https". looks as if it's not my week.....

Really appreciate all the help & advice from everyone.

I did change the plug over to spare I had on the bike but it just goes to show, you can't trust fack all :redface

I really did think it was fuel with there being a definite difference at exactly 3000rpm & with it happening over a short period of time/miles I was sure it was crap in the fuel.

Oh well every day is a school day & big thanks again guys

Please feel free to take the pi$$
Excellent news Phill  I in can here your enjoyment and relief in your voice on the video, I'm glad you got there in the end

FFS it had to be something stupid. I have had that before...dodgy plug but ruled it out once you done the swap. It just goes to show doesn't it. Oh well you can get back to having some fun now

You were right Carl, it was something stupid & I feel really stupid too  Heyho, life goes on

Very tempting to lie & blame it on dodgy connectors, HT leads & the like

But no, my fault. I relied on a plug that's been bouncing around (loose) in the storage compartment under the seat for 5000 miles :redface
