No, but I'd managed to forget it until then......

The drag on the seal and shaft have always annoyed me, tbh. That's a BHP right there.
Plus thrashing the little drive chain round. Strip that lot out and you'd save a bit of weight, too, not far off the weight of the pump and cabling.
Sealing the clutch casing so that you wouldn't have the water pump housing in place should be easy, not sure if I could do it very attractively, though.

I'd definitely want a tell-tale to warn me of pump failure early, though- a small led to show when it WASN'T receiving power, plus a temp sensor in the line somewhere with a bright overheat LED, otherwise you could cook your engine in no time.

And I'd put a little run-on hysteresis circuit in as well, so it kept circulating after shutdown for a couple of minutes.

How do you stop bids from these numbskulls if they bid in the last 5 secs? I even said in the listing "bidders with less than 5 positive feedback please contact before bidding"

Been there tonight, they want me to go back in a week if I'm still sick. Why would I do that when they haven't cured me today?

And why is a quartet not just a pint?

Coughing blood gets you a seat on the bus, no trouble.
I might have to get on a bus, just to prove this.
