Hah ha!

Another one living in a dream world.
I've sent him a message offering the two replacement exhaust valves for the front cylinder that he'll need for only £500.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I know people who have used them on different bikes and they have been ok. Why don't you just chop down your standard one so you can't see all the plastic hanging out?

Cause I'll be getting a slightly smaller plate next year at some point and I don't want to completely destroy the standard one :lol:

Never,ever,ever understood why some people run those small plates, they just scream "pull me" IMO

Because the standard is too big and bulky and I dislike the look. It won't be ridiculously small, but meh. Police around this area really couldn't care less, same as with my blue sidelights :lol;

Yeah, around that sort of size. Not too aggravating to police officers but not the size of India like it currently is :lol:

To be fair, I saw a police biker on saturday and he waved at me. Then he saw my blue sidelights and just shook is head so I pissed off as quick as I could, they just don't care in Rugby. We're all scum and they can't fix us :wink: Well, I'm not FROM rugby sooo.... :D

i've been running an 8x6 plate for about 9 or 10 thousand miles never been pulled for it, i think its the sweet spot, i know people that have 7x5 and have had a tug for it

8x6 looks smaller but with out taking the piss,

7x5 you can visibly tell that looks unusually small so that and anything less is an easy pull for the boys in blue

I was pulled for a small plate and loud exhausts (Renegade). It was the pipes they pulled me for first as the comments were about them being mickey mouse accessories etc... the plate was a bonus me thinks as he was a miserable git. Said it was all to do with the fight against terrorism and with a small plate they couldn't track my movements. I asked if it didn't occur to him that if I was a terrorist I'd probably be keeping a low profile without the small plate and overly loud race pipes, it's more like so you can identify where to send any revenue accruing fines etc?? That fell on deaf ears...

He said I needed to change the plate for something different so as my way of sticking two fingers up to him I now have a 8x2 with a dodgy font with a honeycomb background to it as well... not been pulled with this one to date so keeping it as it is till I do.

Image

Sorry if it offends any of you small plate haters... but I like it as you can see the undertray etc which is what I also wanted.
Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?
