Fitted new tyres, balanced wheels, fitted new wheels. Adjusted chain and lubed it. Gave it a wash and fitted new tax disk ready for a run tomorrow( fingers crossed it don't snow). Just noticed that it needs mot doing next week too. All should be fine.

After the snow cleared, I hopped on the bike and got a 100 yards down the road before it became clear I couldn't change up into 2nd gear without tearing some staples

Turned around and parked up before catching a bus and train. Strangely M&S had no thermal gear but plenty of sandals & t-shirts....

Gave it a bit of a wash down to remove the shite and road salt from the last ride. Really wanted to get out for a while, so took a ride down to see Marty & Carl in East London. Got caught in some really crappy weather on the way home, bike rotten again, might as well have not bothered !!!

Marty, no I don't use the standard chain guard I just use the one that is connected to the hugger. No issues at all.

Glad your sorted, Tony will see you right, just keep the black coffee on the go, no sugar IIRC.
Re PM = Private Message
Click on the users name you want to contact & it will bring up a new page, on there you will find a 'send private message' .
However I see from your later posts you have already contacted him. Sorted...
If you want a 'Private Massage' PM Virt, he's the go to boy for that sort of thing...apparently...
