Fitted new tax disc. Only a month late.

Started it and then plugged it into the optimate.

Threw a tantrum in the garden about the crap weather. (until I got too cold and had to go back inside).

Seriously, enough already, not expecting tropical weather just double figures (without the minus)

Got the little Kawasaki KH125 out to get it MOTd, but the battery was a bit flat and the indicators wouldnt work with the lights on :( Poped it on the 6V charger for 2hrs and it's all working again :D

Nipped down to my local garage, and it starts snowing on me :( And then to top it off, the garage was shut for all of Easter so I went home again

After the mot saga, I helped Callum do his stopper mod on his new bike and we even managed to get the snapped cam cover bolt out and replaced with one out of my spare engine

tbh fair, i only have 1 yr ncb, because of an on going claim, and i live in london, and the bike isn't alarmed, and i'm not in the iam, blah blah blah
but i only want two mths cover until my other bikes finished, i can see the remarks now, 2 mths/more like 2 yrs......
ok 3 mths then.
i'll keep looking, from what i can gather there was a £75 adim fee for stopping the pay as you go policy.....that cant be right.... :eek2

Marty - i wanted short-term cover for my son's car so I could drive it until he passed his test. The 2-3 month options were a waste of time and expensive. Found a quote that had no early cancel fees, paid in instalments and cancelled after three months. Cost me about £36 a month, the short-term cover was £110 per month 8O

hard to compare, last year i went fully comp with 0 ncb and declared every mod, the end result was £750..... :eek2
this bike is standard apart from the cans and hugger and it works out at a total of £115 and an excess of £250, its a very basic policy tho. if the cancellation charge is cheap i'll probably go for it, i only want 3 mths cover until the other bike is ready. 3mths works out at £40, but i'm sure the cancellation charge will be silly.... :(
i'll find out on tuesday...
