You could do my catchy titled "lower yoke reinforcement using a modified top yoke" mod?
Basically grind a top yoke flat and bolt it under the bottòm yoke! Just a thought

but FYI, recently i browsed internet, and Moriwaki full system seems to be obtainable from Japan. Wouldn´t be easy, but possible, and price is quite low in there.

I mentioned my plans for winter in another topic, so I am going to do:
New pistons with 98.5 mm bore and 11.2 CR, hopefully from CP pistons
Ported heads
Cams regrind to 256 deg and 10.2 mm valve lift
Ignitech CDI programmable unit.
Cams are reground to given spec, now I need to setup timing. Currently I have in mind:
IN: BTDC 22 / ABDC 54
EX: BBDC 56 / ATDC 20
Not sure how it will perform, seems to me oriented more to top end, but in worst scenario, I can use only intake cams ...
Suggestion and ideas are welcome :-)

Long duration on the Ex there. It's closing very late in comparison to say the HPower Mori kit or even standard. This will have an effect on scavenging/how much intake charge gets wasted out the closing exhaust valve during the overlap.

Now I understand, did mistake at ATDC, correct value is 20.
Valve overlap (In BTDC plus Ex ATDC) is 42 deg in this case. Stock is 35, Mori stg1 38, Yosh only 32, but I found some specs for Kent showing 50, and Webcams 50 as well. Kent and Webcams are probably pure track oriented, so my cams should be halfway.
Of course this value is only part of full picture, and I can only guess, will see after assembly and dyno where is the true.

Arr that's more like it. I thought you may have made typo there. All sounds good to me they are hot (extreme) but I don't think overly when you compare what's already out there. It's really is good that you going aftermarket ECU along with the cams. I take it you wont be changing the advancer in either direction then (+ or -) as that can all be controlled a lot more accurately via the mapping on the ignition side. What about valve springs. Do you think stiffer ones would be necessarycorrect value is 20.

The most important thing IMO is having them degreed in correctly with adjustable cam sprockets. This is going to be the hard bit. Are you planning on doing this yourself. I would play on the safe side. Once this is set up you can then adjust either the inlet or exhaust, advance or retard either or both. We have an advantage here with DOHC. Play with the Lobe separation angle or advance or retard either cam. I would only do this a step at a time though. Keep within safe boundaries and double check everything, be sure that nothing is going to kiss and allowing for higher revs and expansion of parts. Stay safe and tread cautiously. Even 1 degree change can make a substantial difference when you get down to performance mods like this. It's a compromise between performance and reliability and where you want the peak torque power.

Adjustable cam sprockets are must, without it I wouldn´t be able to play with timing. Current sprockets will be slotted, no need to buy new one. I won´t do it, all work will be done by well proven serviceman. It seems expensive, but for me definitely cheaper, as I have lack of time, experience and tools.
For sure I need to check valve to piston clearance after assembly. Valve springs are ok with 10.2 mm valve lift on these cams.
Roger has given me plenty of info already, I don´t want to bother him with this one :-)
It is not meant as ultimate built, I just do engine which could be called Stage 1. Airbox will be completely standard. And lighter wheels I have from triumph :-) After all, I would be happy for 10-15 extra HP.

Cams are done. Heads are placed in the workshop of one of the most reputable engine builders in Czech and wait just for finish - he has a lot of work, this is weak point, I want him to tune CDI in spring. Mailbox with pistons and mold of combustion chamber was delivered this Monday to CP pistons and I don´t expect problems here.

All good. Finally I asked him for opinion, and he said these cams with suggested timing will work perfectly for street riding, with gain through the rev range.
