A mate once told me he could get his mrs so excited whilst she wa on the back of his bike, just by holding it at the 3000rpm mark..These girls must have already had the pleasure of sitting on a V Twin at 3000rpm.. :D

Cool

I pretty much live next door to Warr's and they test ride the bikes up and down the road on my estate all the time. The guys in the garage are miserable unhelpful bunch of wombles. It did take a jap bike in there once and asked If I could borrow a tool or asked someone if they could loosen a bolt (can't remember exactly, it was years ago) but I do remember the cold atmosphere I got as they looked down at me because my bike wasn't a Harley. I have never been in there again, and make as much noise from my bike as I can everytime I ride past them.

I have no idea why but twenty year old girls would hitch their skirts up to climb on board for a ride home on summer evenings. They wouldn't jump on a cbr.... I guess the Harley seemed safer.

One bloke I know went to a party with his missus, they got chatting to another women at the party and she said she would love to have a go on the back of his Harley as she had heard how nice they was to sit on, she asked my mate for a lift home, his wife said yes, so he took her home, he said the groans she was making on the back were interesting and she went stiff on the back, but not with fright, when he dropped her off she said he could pick her up anytime for a ride and could even come in for a coffee if he wanted

The secrets in the vibrations and the bike has rythm :D

So the main selling point of a Haley is that it is a good Dildo! They will be doing a 50 shades of grey paint job next

That is exactly what I mean about the general attitude of Harley riders, not all, there are always exceptions, but definitely most of them. You don't get that the other way around.
Rest my case!!!

That is true mate, have to admit... But that isn't the reason I want to ride!

When I had a Buell I test rode some Harley's at Preston HD as they were doing a bit of a demo day.

Rode a big fat bird thingy, which had naff all fuel in it, came to fill her up and the filler cap wouldn't release. Back at the shop they couldn't free it up either. Strangely there was no kind of apology or 'this doesn't usually happen' type of response!

So I then took an XR1200 flat tracker out and that was a bit more like it. It needed pipes, noise, springs on the footpegs and more poke in that order. But it was fun even if the engine sounded a bit glassy (a by product of the big mostly empty primary housing I think).

Neither were a patch on the Buell for fun, handling or poke - even if it was an unreliable old bus.

The flat track was made for people who like Harleys but don't like the sit back cruisers, not my cup o tea, but I've not heard bad things about them.
