Good work but just to say that as it's a little tall at the front you might find that the R1 stubby hugger may not fit without modifications.
I just mentioned this to save you buying one and finding out later.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I plan to use the r1 stubby hugger, what height above the swingarm do I want the top of the brace to be?

Not sure, Al, but I have seen one fitted recently that didn't sit right.
If the front is too high you have to space the front of the hugger and it no longer sits squarely on the brace.

See if you can find a shop with one in stock that will let you offer it up? You'd need the brace held in place and the tyre and wheel in position, of course.

This is my R1 hugger, had to drill and tap the swingarm to facilitate spacer fitment.

Otherwise the hugger wouldn't clear the tyre.

If you look closely you can see the spacers I had to use.

It would appear to me that no two braces are the same due to how we all cut the front post to different heights.

Whichever way it goes this is a great mod and transforms the bike. I was disappointed that I had to use spacers for the hugger but now am used to the way it looks.

Thanks, Ken. ...I knew I'd seen one with an R1 hugger and some spacers due to the angle being wrong.

It looks like the hugger needs as shallow an angle as possible, to fit perfectly- but tbh I'm more interested in the brace's strength and performance than the hugger fitting well.

Thanks for the photos will use those as a template, an it looks like spacers may be the only option otherwise there is too much being removed from the triangle
