OK, I'm now the proud owner of a twin room in the New Bath Hotel for Friday and Saturday night.

It's slap in the middle of Matlock Bath.

If anyone's stuck and wants to pay me £74.50 they can stay in my spare bed. If not, I'll just have to fill it with booze and hookers. (thats the total for both nights btw, £37.25 per night)

Price isn't too bad really, it's a peak charging weekend and B&B's aren't much cheaper. I'd rather pay the extra £15 and stay in a hotel anyway - not a fna of B&B's ever since the "Salisbury incident" *shudder*

Kaz how much did you pay for your room? you say its a double is your other half going i just want to know if they charge for the room or per person

i think i might now be able to make it down for this. anyone know of where still has rooms available? i'm thinking of travelling down on the friday and back up on the sunday.
