i asked carl where the open carrier bag was with the brackets,straps.spacers......he'd chucked them in the bin with the other rubbish bag...

The thing is they came of a Blue bike and where going to a Blue bike. So they where bound to travel at a snails pace

I'm sick of the site of that bike and all the faffing around. Told Marty that the Spondon should take two days to put back together. I not touching it until he's finished his fannying around with this that and the other. Putting things on then taking them off. It's too slow when waiting for this bit to be cleaned and that bit to arrive from ebay etc etc. Or waste days trying to find a missing bolt because someone moves things around. It's like a bloody scrapyard there and I'm fighting against the weather.


Iridium plugs make sure they are the right ones for the storm. Plugs run at different temperatures.

Correct not motorcycle related - but a damaged artery in the lower leg that meant not enough oxygenated blood was getting to the foot. This was apparent on cold days and when I was wicket keeping - crouching up and down, so after an hour or two circulation cut out. So the surgeons borrowed a 'spare' vein from the thigh, and used it to bypass the artery in the lower leg. And for laughs they shaved half my pubes off...

Careful that's not an 18mm plug spanner. If purchasing a plug spanner it's 12mm. 12 being the thread size but the bit looks like 18mm, which is the size if using a standard seep socket.

The local MOT guy has been really busy today so I rode 15 miles to a turn up without prebooking kinda place.

Rode in Mot done no probs, rode out again. Went the long way home as I felt like getting rid of some cobwebs.

God its great to be out on the bike again.

Found out today I'm going to have to commute on the bike from may-November :-( as my work is moving 40 miles away and it will be too many miles to put on the car (mobility) so kermit is going to get used every day .
.
So I've just did the baffleectomy on my standard exhausts for when the grumpy gits around here complain about the noise at 4am .
Can any of you lot that commute on the storm give me any pointers .

I have not used the bike to commute to work any distance as work is only round the corner but when I had to on my SV I was starting her up at 0500 between our house and the one next door (old house) and never got a complaintant which was odd because the women next door was always finding something to have a go at someone about. Only thing I would advise is always carry waterproofs in a bag and make sure you stay warm.

Just got my heated grips fitted and they feel great. Will get a test tomorrow when I am out on the bike. Hope they work, fed up of cold hands, even using winter gloves Thank you Seb for the grips
