i've noticed that you get a fair bit of play/movement inthe chinese levers. but thats the trade off when there a quarter of the price of the real deal....titax/asv/pazzo
save yourself a few more quid and go direct to china, you have to wait a little longer for them to turn up. i've never had any problems with customs,

I have looked at these cheap levers before but always been unsure about how good they actually are and whether it is a cause of you get what you pay for or whether they are a good set of levers just without the expensive brand name on them. If they really have turned out ok I might just have to purchase a pair in the near future.

Nothing wrong with the Chinese ones performance wise, it's like BSM said they are just not machined quite as precisely so there is more play at the pivot point.

Can this "play" be reduced or is it always going to be there or it is only slightly noticeable and it is a minimal difference?

The play in the levers is no big deal unless your fussy. It's just a little up and down wobble. Probably could be made better with the use of some fibre or spring washers and better nut and bolts.

I thought you bike is more of a Red Baron than Miss Piggy. :plainsmile
