Got new tires from B&C total dump hole but its not to far

Got new bobbins and another paddock stand from Hein Gericke in Preston

should have been 65 quid but my dad said we will take it for 50 or we walk out, guy said okay then 50 quid

so been an expensive day over all

bad news is some mongo that has had the front wheel off at some point had over tightend the pinch bolts on the forks when putting them back so going to get some nice Titanium replacements

You would think they would get the hint in the name. I expect you will find a few other little issues as one does when they get a new bike. Oh well, find them and sort it all out. At least you have some good tyres now. That will make a huge difference.

yep they had seriously over tightened the spindle bolts too, WTF!!

i know from having the RM250 how easy suzuki threads are to strip when hand tightening stuff so was no expecting to find stuff so over tightened on the bike

the thread on the bolts was wombles, had to run the new ones in and out of it a few times, thankfully they are not load bearing or anything like that, hopefully nothing else is hiding and the old boy that had the bike didn't try fit anything else

Tell you what that suzuki forum is a bit crap lol
people falling out and all sorts of bitching and drama, they just banned some guy for telling them to basically sort the site out and get upto day and on tapatalk, he's been donating for 5 years to its upkeep :eek2

Don't go spending too much on it or you will have the other half on you case again LOL

:eek2 :eek2 Not a nice way to treat someone that has been contributing for all those years. Mind you, that depends on what he's been contributing. It's when one goes onto other forums and we can really appreciate what we have here. Yes we have our flaws, but nothing like other forums.

Happy forum :Group Hug:

I've had her making space cakes for me in the past. But now she's an OAP I don't think I could trust her. That reminds me I must get her to write down some of her old recipes before she kicks the bucket. I may carry on the tradition of Welsh cakes then.

Two places that spring to mind are Disco Volante Moto down in Welsh land -

http://www.discovolantemoto.co.uk/

Give him a bell to discuss your needs, he's very helpful.

I have also used Toronto cycles in Canada land. They charge a max of £5 postage o the more you buy the better and delivery is about a week. Didn't get nabbed for importation either -

Very friendly and helpful. Good luck with them mate, they are both miles cheaper than Pro Bolt.

Me too Mr Kev - how come they've popped along I wonder

Anyway, spent the day giving the bike a clean, lubing the chain and adjusting it, was going to go for a ride but ribs too sore still and you feel every bump etc - found out to my cost on Friday when I took my leathers to be taken in by a huge amount. Plus spent what seemed like ages trying to line up the o/s lovely shiny Fuel exhaust to match the angle of the n/s, got close but not close enough to be perfect. Was going to do a load of other stuff but daughter called and needed picking up. Good to get up close and personal with the bike again though. The list of jobs can now become a reality :D
