Grey Import refers to any bike imported by someone other than the offical UK importer...regardless of engine size.

There were a glut of bikes from Japan in the 80's mainly 250's & 400's due to the Japanese licensing laws, making it difficult to ride anything bigger...Really strict ''mot'' making very expensive to keep 'old' 1yr + bikes on the road & finaly & the best bit the manic inter factory tech wars meaning new models every 6 months, which the yoff of Japan had to have as was the fashion.

End result wharehouses stuffed to the gunnels with super trick 250 & 400 secondhand bikes that couldnt be sold in Japan...crate them up & ship here..instant sales boom...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Good point about the tank Kev. Maybe I'm wrong then., it does have MPH clocks. Now get back to enjoying your holiday in Italy. I hear they do good Ouzo there. LOL I don't suppose you have 14 Turkish ships hiding there do you.

Wow that is some seriously low mileage. I don't think we have had any on here as low as that accept that silly priced anniversary one brand new and in the showroom.
