what have you done to your "bike" today

Bought some new sprocket nuts for vtr as two went missing (it was only one last time I checked and it hasn't moved since. I'm not impressed, to say the least). Cost me a bloody fiver just for the two. Did the tyre pressures on the hornet (23 F, 32 R... Oops. Gonna be a weekly thing now, as Lloydie said) gave it a wash after a short ride to vent anger at life. most productive day I've had with the bikes gonna start looking at new tyres soon. Dunno why mine are so square

Virt if you want to fit 15t front 43t rear sprocket in the storm let me know as I have some in my parts bin :-) tho it will render 1st and 2nd gear useless :-) well unless you like looking up

that's quick by BT standards........ I got phone line installed for broadband when I was in Rugby and had nothing but problems. The date for the installation came and went without the engineer turning up and me taking the day off work so I called and after being on hold for over an hour and a half the call went something like -
bt - what number are you calling about
me - *gives number from order form*
bt - one minute we'll just check your line..........there doesn't appear to be any problems, it's ringing
me - I'm sure it is in the bloody exchange, there's no line connected to my house which is why I'm calling, the engineer was supposed to be here yesterday!!!
bt - one minute........he called and no-one was in so they left a card
me - really, I sat in from 7am till 7pm and there's been no-one called and no cards put through the letterbox
bt - well he definitely called at your address
me - so not only did I lose over £100 in wages by having to be here for the supposed visit your also calling me a liar
etc etc etc
took over 4 months from placing order and paying for it before it was installed.............

yesterday i did a little tinkering, fitted a new very small numberplate....
also fitted o/e rear indi's and put standard orange lenses on all 4 of them. i finished cleaning the headers, i just need to polish them, i also fitted my freshly sprayed silver o/e bellypan.
just a few more jobs to do.
today me and carl visited mac on the windy isle of grain, every bloody time i go there its windy, and no i haven't eaten loads of beans....
i had a ride on carls bike on the way back, he said it needed petrol and as theres a petrol station on the way out of grain, it gave me a nice 5 or so minutes on his bike. what he didn't tell me was how badly it needed juice, it conked out on the roundabout before the garage, luckily it restarted only to totally conk out as i pulled it the petrol station
tbh this has happened to me on my bike and in cabs before, a fuel russian roulette so to speak....
i can report back and say, carls bike is handling brilliantly, you've done a fine job dude...
i also have to say that i didn't particully like the feeling of the harris rearsets, probably down to them being set up for carls dainty feet and not my massive hoofs.
you also notice the difference in flywheels, my bike has a lightened flywheel and carls is standard. my bike has alot more shove, really spinning up fast. where as carls is more progressive and smooth, i think mines more addictive but for everyday use, i'd go with the normal flywheel.
and on the way home the heavens opened and we got soaked

Pretty much how we've been having it player. On the 3 or 4 occasions they've came over they identified the problem and said they'll inform HQ... Not one of them has. So we don't progress anywhere and BT don't listen to us as we aren't network engineers or whatever. Absolute b8stard
