Do hope you stuck to the original fitment Lee. Wouldn't want to interfere with the brilliance of the Japanese engineers!!!!

Yep heated them up over the hob so they expanded a bit. I have now left burnt rings on the wooden chopping board.

Going to go back out soon and have another go at bleeding the bleeding brakes now I have calmed down. Cheers for the offer Al but it looks like Marty may have one so I shall sort the brakes before coming to the dyno. I really don't like having dodgy brakes it's not good

but I am one of those guys who is willing to take risks if needs be. It's a good job I don't use the brakes much and slow down early using the engine braking when needs be.
Why is that everything always turns out to be a last minute rush. Still got Marty's bike to sort as well.
While I'm here, would a cbr 1000 radial MS work well with CBRF4 or Sport callipers. Obviously the lever is different. It's upgrade time shortly and I want a MC with the reservoir bottle rather than the standard CBR ones.

Rode it to work instead of the Fazer. Frickin love the Storm, only had it roadworthy for a week, done a couple of ride outs and already the fazer just feels broken and wallowy, despite it being one of the best bikes I had owned before. Storm feels so much tighter.

had a visit from my local spanner monkey, the little git stole my mint brake m/c with lever and resi.......
a little more tinkering this evening. a little bit of angle grinding, now my toe nails are lovely.........
finally put some new grips and original bar ends on, i also got some jubilee clips for the new fuel lines, although they're an i.d of 10mm, they need the clips to hold them on.
just need to get the fuel tap tonight, i'll get that fitted tomorrow, put some fuel in and see if i don't blow up.
then a test ride to carls to sync the carbs and double check the mixture. and i finally think thats it. i really can't think of anything else, i suppose i best get the thing sold.
next weekend it'll be the powder coaters for the spondon frame.......

anyone know where i can buy a new fuel filter that sits in the tank, ds wants £30 for one.....

I changed the right one today and also both stripped down, cleaned, checked and put back together. All looks good. I shall see how I get on in a little while with the this MC.
