When you get the new one's, put the outer headstock race in the freezer overnight and then they will shrink a bit and be easier to knock into place. An angle grinder works a treat to help remove the old bearing off the steering stem. A combination of heat from cutting and cutting it off, and it will slide straight off before you even cut right through it. If you have a bit of metal tube or copper pipe slightly larger than the steering stem, this will work well to squarely knock the new bearing down into place.![]()
