Wouldn't have guessed that...
It's just that I have been around these bikes for too long as I had seen the problem before.
The funny part is a guy on the US forum had the same issue but didn't believe me and I believe he ended up selling the bike.

Spent the day with Ole Red and the Yellow thingy. Turns out it's French

Got the subframes and swingarms swapped over. Pretty much the whole rear ends. I had a one armed bandit to help get in the way and do some light tinkering.

Yesterday Disabled the Exhaust Valve on the GSXR, when removing the wire from the ECU plug found some cowboy instead of pulling it out the plug had just cut the wire in the past
when putting it back together and the original can back on the wire had just been twisted back together and a bit of tape on it

no solder or anything
Sorted out the idle and fast idle speed too, ordered a new genuine filter and iridium plugs
Bike rides better now the valve is disabled, its louder a lot louder feels a different bike and sounds completely different under 6k
Ordered a new Genuine Suzuki air filter and iridum spark plugs too

Removed the barrel off the KH125 and took it and the 1st oversize piston off to PJ engineering to get it rebored.
Don't you just love 70's air cooled 2 strokes, how simple they are to take apart...
Quess how many bolts had to be undone to get the barrel off?

Nope....you need to go up a bit, remember to factor in removing bodywork and inlet / exhaust.

Correct...
Removing the tank...0, it just sits on rubbers
Removing the carb...0, it's a disk valve engine so the carb is on the crankcase
Removing the exhaust...2 bolts on the barrel and 1 that joins the header to the silencer
Removing the head...... 4
Removing the barrel....0, it's held on with the long studs tat hold the head
=7
