An engine is an engine whether in a car, bike, boat, plane or whatever. They are all nuts and bolts. All you need to know is the right order to remove components and take things apart and then put them back together. The skill is in being able to remove those nuts and bolts and getting you hands into tight spots, sometimes going in blind and doing it by feel. The right tool for the job helps.

In case you haven't seen it, this may help

Perhaps we can have a minnie workshop day.
Try swoping a few things around if that's any help.
Check timing etc.

He's only a hoot and a hola from me AP I'll help if I can.
Theres nothing worse than a bike not running right had that with the K&N filter put a standard one in transformed the riding experience no end.

What have you changed/checked so far to get to the bottom of it? Is it only on one cylinder?

i mainly feel in at about 2500-3500 revs not all the time some times leaning round a roundabout it will miss big cluck as it misses
not good
some times at the lights ticking over it will miss and cut out
 because everyone is looking at the bike and the noise  and they think you have stalled it or got a rough bike :(

Sounds to me like your describing a carb fart rather than a misfire. Do you hear it popping back through the carbs. Start with a carb sync, that will help.

+1 on the carb farts, carb balancing, set the tps to 500 ohms and if all else fails set the idle to 1300 to 1500rpm.
when was the bike last serviced? and what air filter is it running?
