Steering head bearings, and the fact that the oil gap on my 954 forks is too small at 90mm, leading to a harsh front end.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

my bike has been missing one of the front fairing screws since I bought it, under the headlight. I swear I can hear it flapping around when it's all vibey, need to sort that...

You may have lost the Spire clip from down there too.

I am ignoring the coating of dead flys on the front from 2 weekends ago and the fact the rear rim now has a slight dent in it that wasn't there when I fitted the tyres.

Are the 6 spoke wheels made of chocolate, feels like they dent very easily compared to the old 3spokes?

I have run my bike for 13yrs on std 3 spokes and till 4weeks ago they had coped with everything I threw at them. and the impact that dented the front rim nearly dented the tank with my baldrocks, so it was major.
but these 6 spokes I now fitted.......... the front had 4 separate bulges on the rim which I had straightened by Motoliner, but now the back one has a bulge and I don't remember feeling any impacts......... just starting to worry that they may not be as strong as the old ones

I haven't discovered any dents on mine Al, but I will check since you've found some on yours.

Hit some pretty gnarly, ball crushing potholes too

That would make sense as there's something removed to get the lightness. Not as tough a metal maybe  It's the same issue with Carbon rims I believe. Don't Dymag make wheels mixed with carbon spokes and metal rims, or is that the other way around  ....but you see my point.

I'm ignoring a bald back tyre and chain and sprockets. It's a battle of which to get first at the moment as my chain is at it's max adjustment and already hitting the downpipe with me off the bike and on it''s sidestand.. :eek2 I've decide I'm going to get an oiler as my chain maintenance is real bad considering I ride in all weathers all year around.

Just need to sort the funds out and finally decide on what exactly I'm getting as I keep chopping and changing my mind, especially on which tyre to get. I'm thinking Dunlop Qualifier 2 again. And with the chain I'm thinking of going two teeth up on the rear sprocket. Can someone tell me where my initial adjustment would be with 102 link chain. Ie how far forward the rear wheel will be. I want to start a new chain/rear wheel as far forward as I can get. When I fitted the current chain (all standard) it started halfway on the adjuster marks. It's only about a year old and now it's at its max. It was a cheap cheerful chain though! If I hadent already riveted it I would have taken a couple of links out.

I really should make an effort to find out why my forks 'bang' every time I go near a bump or pot hole... somethings not right on the front end but suffering from 'I can't be bothered' syndrome at the moment
