Jeff, Jeff, Jeff... Busa's (and R1s for that matter) are for people who want to look like they can ride, but judging by those I've met so far, they can't. I've yet to meet someone aboard either who can actually outride me & my storm... and going past me on the straights doesn't count when I then have to pass them on the corners...

Well said ! Same thing. I dont consider myself a fast rider but when i can set off 5 mins before a couple of ( experienced ?) R1 riders and arrive 20 miles later 10 mins ahead, i think that says enuff dont you ???

( Helmsley road if anyones interested !, one of the best in England ! )

yeah yeah but i'm 6foot3 and i like big comfy bikes!!!

i thought i had a busa bought but i missed out again!!!!!the bike was 6 hours away by car, so i had arranged to drive there next weekend but it sold yesterday......................

oh and i readily admit that i can't ride a road bike for $h!t!!!!!!!!!!!!! nor do i have any intention of getting too silly straight away.

on the other hand i race MX and enduro, and do quite well i might say, so i presume that in 12 months time with some experience under my belt i may be able to get along ok!!! time will tell.

yes i am sure a VTR can out steer a 'busa!!!!! but what about the wednesday night drags??????? :D

right now i'm just watching out for a good bike to come up at the right price, and since it is going to be my first road bike i am not too fussy really.

Have Fun
