Enjoy Wales and say a big "baaah!" to the natives.
I hope she's ok mate, gotta look after them ol' girls.

That's crazy about the road block! You must have been going for it, 100mph avg on a 250 Superdream! I was pulled over on my (naked) SV for averaging 146mph round the Braintree back roads, funny thing is, I'd geared it so it topped out around 130! :D stupid plod.

Hope all is ok?

Will give the Welsh roads a good thrashing for you and might sneak in a cheeky Baaaa while I'm at it ;)

Took the rear shock and link off, still wasn't happy with handling in turns, new front tyre improved things a bit, slight graunch in one of the bearings so ill change them over the winter, just cleaned and greased them for the moment.
slipped in a couple of washers to the shock I have a 6mm spacer but wanted to work up to it.
Result massive difference in turn in scraping boots time, ill go up another washer through the week and try it.
Passed a blue vtr on the way home, knew it was one because we did that thing where you tuck your elbow in and hang off to the right to see in mirror

Another day spent in the MacCave finishing off what I started yesterday...

Note the shiny header & I also sprayed the oil cooler whilst it is all apart, to match the rads.

Also did me bobbins while wheel was out.

I was just thinking he needs to slow down a bit. You don't want to overdo things Mac.

Looks nice and shiny, what paint did you use?

Interesting photo there showing your HT lead to the front pot. From 2002> they have a complete plug cap & skirt that covers the plug area fully.

put the flip screen back on, the Fabri double bubble would be great with std bars, and it looks the dogs nuts, but with the renthals it is still too low :(

As it happens it was/is a can of that stuff from Aldi, gloss black, covers rust type stuff. Remember they had it a while back in all diff colours.

Still got loads to do. Change the callipers, put the flat bars on, fairings, undertray, few other bits & bobs, then jobs a good un.

Then we'll see if I can twist the throttle far enough to go more than 15mph...

Oh & squeeze the break hard enough to stop it...
