Don't know why everyone loves the iron curtain race cans so much.... Yoshimura all the way for me!
You wouldn't want to own a Yugo45 or some other former soviet car but will bang a former Yugoslav can on your bike

Well a lot of Race teams would disagree with you on that one Seb...

I know I know just messing lol I did want one but could only afford the one I wanted on finance over a two year plan and not seen a decent used hexagonal titanium one for sale on Eblag, so when the Yoshimura popped up with a buy it now of 175 I got it as soon as it came on. Normaly they sell for 330-600 used, just hope not mint doesn't mean a bit wombles but works..... It's on its way today so will report back fingers crossed for me guys

That would be a brilliant race series!
To my knowledge it's the only other can that utilises the valve the Yoshimura ones, this is one of the expensive factory optional extras not many of them about, the use of the valve apparently stops a low flat spot and boosts low tourqe by 6 per cent, most people say it's just a noise thing rip it off etc but you can definitely feel the difference between it turned on and off plus I've been getting about 7-10 more miles to a tank full, not much but it helps.
It can be quite frugal with juice when not hammering it hard from the lights and giving it the beans down the motorway, been returning 50 to 60mpg on fill ups, I keep thinking I will ride a whole tank and see how far I can get on it taking it slow but not managed that with rushing to work
Been getting 155 miles when filling up and then putting in between 13 and 15 ltr in the 18ltr tank so should be able to get 175 miles no problem I would have thought, fuel light is annoying tho
Constantly flashes at you, then when it's down to 1ltr it goes to permanent light, I would have had that other way round my self, never had it down to a ltr yet tho, but done 30miles with it flashing which is wombles annoying in the dark with a bright yellow light yelling hello hello

That makes a lot more sense.
When people start going on about mileage that is almost if not double the Storm it makes me want to get rid of my bike.......for 5 mins

Cans arrived, wombles happy it's near mint other than some rubbing where the strap sat and a what looks like a home made benny style baffle i'm yet to remove, off to subway will clean it up when I get home after work :-)
Yeah that's always been one major draw back on the storm, if only it had the 19ltr tank from the get go

Well if you look at it that way then you ride a bike and run an end can from the folks that brought you the Battle of Hong Kong, the Bataan Death March, Pearl Harbor, Singapore and a few other fun filled adventures.....
and what have the Yugoslavs ever done to you????

Well Mr P has been putting in some time this past week in between his night shifts when he gets up and all I hear is an air sander lol a compressor and a list of stuff I need to order off internet.. Anyway, long story short ( yes I do rattle on )
Here is bennys old Black swing arm after a few hours of sanding it back with various grades and it hasn't been buffed yet or polished so we're getting there. .and YES, I am fully aware you can see my robe from when I took the photo this morning! ..You sometimes have to go back a stage or 2 to get rid of some of the imperfections that show up after using the 2000 grit. I'm rather pleased you see me can tbh, shows the reflection already and not polished yet! Air buffer has been dispatched so it should be here tomorrow. I managed to bag a bottle 325ml of Autoglym Metal polish for £6.50!
I can't wait to see it finished and on the bike.. Next job, my frame!
I'm well aware the grass needs a cut BUT priorities are a must and grass can wait until tomorrow! Well, for one, am mighty pleased with it so far.

It needs capitals.
The Arm That Swings will do.
It gives it a certain gravitas......don't you think?
