yup, i'm not liking the footpeg arrangement dude, and your right, they do let the rearsets down, not sure what to do about it tho, i know i can get new pegs but i don't know if they'll fit the levers, these parts hail from the late 90's and it shows....
its all good for tomorrow buddy, carls cobbled his exhaust back together, he ain't happy with it tho....
i'm just looking at maps to sort out a route down to yours...
the weather for tomorrow looks ok atm, so i'll see you in the morning buddy....

Well I think they look better now with a refresh.... and some new parts.

Changed screeen, checked for oil leaks from cct swap ( none ) and rode it. New tyres urgently needed.

Started on the callipers last night, wow they was bad, one piston was stuck fast seized in place others wouldn't move free there was that much sh1t stuck to them
supposing how much crap had got past the two sets of rubber seals too, wombles nightmare to clean out as its hard to get in the nooks and that
you can see how dirty one half is now to the other after a quick clean
this is that dirty half now cleaned up and cleaned out, what a difference!
back together and clean now
i would recommend every one do this just to refresh there brakes, this bike has only 14k on it and hasn't seen much rain or bad weather and look at the state of these wombles!
New seal kits should only be around 20 max per calliper for most bikes
