When I used to own Harleys people asked me what I had and when I told them I had a Harley they would say " oh your a proper biker then? Noise was fab, had aftermarket (Victory) pipes fitted.
Alas, I could not live with the handling...with the feet forward I just felt as though I had little control in the bends (of any sort). I tried fitting a new set of peg hangars from a Vic Hammer, which put the pegs back 1.5 inches, but not a lot better.
Preferred it over the Harley's though...over here in Ontario the Harley's attract a different group than you might imagine.... I'd rather be just a regular biker than a 'Biker'....
Nothing at all wrong with the bike, but just wasn't for me.
Almost as funny as the old chaps who used to tell me they had one of those Triumph when they were younger back in the 60s, and I used to just smile, because I had a 1997 T509 speed triple.
