Guess where this picture was taken...

Too bad my bike is covered in camping gear... well I was quite far away from home
Now that's the sort of picture we should all be aiming for, stunning backdrop, no road signs or clutter like wheelie bins in site*.

Loose the camping gear, top box & the helmet/ jacket & that would be perfect.

Yes but is it a picture of the bike or the scenery.

Chris take your pick and I can email you a hi res 300dpi for print one if you like.

For best quality you'll need to see what the actual dimensions of the pics are and that the resolution for the printed pics is 300dpi for print rather than 72 dpi for screen use Ideally you'd need hi-res images to begin with say at minimum 1600px at the widest dimension - if using them at A4-A3 sizes. Most of the picture posted are too small and display compressed jpgs with noticeable blocky artefacts and its no use scaling them up.
When it comes to source images, bigger is better, because you can go down in size but not up without losing quality.
….
One last thing, don’t confuse “image size” with “file size.” Image size refers to the dimensions of the image while file size is how much space the image takes up on a hard drive (kilobytes or megabytes).
Here's a page that explains it better than I can > http://www.vsellis.com/understanding-dp ... eb-images/

I've sent Lloydie links to the files I've bunged up on dropbox - Both are still RGB - printer should be able to convert them to CMYK

10.2mb 300dpi tiff, 24.5cm x 18.38cm

9.3mb 300dpi tiff, 23cm x 17.5cm
