I was not going to mention that for obvious reasons!!! So technically I DO have a magnet somewhere!

They must be made of aluminium and not steel would be my guess,

Chris.

I had to research that but yes they are indeed aluminium! That explains it!

It's also easier when on-line to google, than to get yourself up out of your chair

I received these headers from Geeman22 yesterday and was very pleased with them as they were basically new with only bronzing and no corrosion.

However I decided to Polish them up anyway. This has taken me ten hours before but today it took just one.

I managed to get my hands on the excellent condition Delkevic cans and links Geeman had.
Very happy with them

I also went and picked up the fairings today. I've gone for a bit of a different blue but nothing too mad. Looks different in different lights.

Happy with how they've turned out considering their condition before.

Should have frame etc finished next week and also the engine painted.
Rebuild will then start.

Very nice indeed.

Just one decision left, are you going to join the blue crew or are you going to be stand alone?

If I wasn't in the blue crew I'd have to call it something different! It's definitely some kind of blue. Maybe purple in some lights!

Let's just call it blue. Never good to be on your own!
