Managed to get out and do a trials competition today, 1st time on that bike for 4months...good crack and wasn't as rusty as I thought I would be, but the sections were laid out well with no scary stuff so that helped.

Everyone should try trials, it is the most fun you can have on a bike without breaking the
Law, and I used 4l of petrol all day :thumbup:

Also went to the bike show on Saturday to buy a new helmet, and came home with this

Looks very sexy in matt black, the logos are black but as they are reflective they look white in the flash. Bought it as I wanted a very quiet helmet and they are well rated for that, it also has great ventilation and only weighs 1350grams.

Got£100 off the list price, but it was still expensive, just have to tell the wife that 'twas half the cost I paid and i might get away with it

Today I got myself some metzeler
Racetec k2
They had only done 2 laps
£105 fitted and balanced

did you get the k1 on the front?
i had these on my bike briefly before my accident last year, they felt very good once warmed up....... :thumbup:

Well after at least 18 months, finally got round to fitting paddock stand bobbins. Used Rivinuts and used the measurements advised by others on here. A worth while job I think. :thumbup:

Picked up the standard clear screen
Of amq46 today and just fitted it

needing something to occupy my mind i thought i'd see how some punto repeat indi's would look inside the air ducts so i did alittle plastic cutting,glued them into the inner panels like this

I think it'll affect the cooling, but if you don't commute in the summer, city centre stuff, then probably ok.
