Washed it them made a start and Fitted the cable clutch conversion ImageImage
Just need to test ride it now .
If it works I'll leave it on for a few months then pop it in the piggy bike bits box

Works great and feels lighter too ;-)

Was going to do some 'how to' pics, but basically, remove the old one, fit the new type of connectors to the wires, and bolt on with one bolt as the spacing is different.

No danger of it moving as it is a lot bigger and it's TIGHT in the seat unit!

Tested and it's putting out a steady 14.5 volts so it's working.

That's a lovely looking RR you have there :thumbup:

I took a ride down to Grain today. The only thing I done to the bike was get it dirty. :lol:

Now there was something important that I was supposed to do today...er ummm...what was it now...box, BP, PO...Oh sod it can't remember...I'm sure it'll come back to me sometime next month... :lol:
