oh yes you are correct. it is an addictive noise that sounds like it could suck the hedges in from the road side............ especially winding on the throttle mid range

How far did you strip it back? I've ordered some upper/lower fork bushes and stuff to service my forks after our chat on wobbly legs

Today I made a start on reaching the end goal for my bike. Hopefully get the ball rolling properly on Saturday/Sunday. Can't say much more as I'm not 100% sure how it will all work out in the end but I shall update when I have more to update on. Feeling excited :biggrin

Yep I some how had some stiction in the forks so they weren't working as they should .
And loose head bearings didn't help !
Just need to set the damper rebound now as it still feels like it's to hard and not riding through the bumps more like it's riding over them

Right… Found why the the bulb wouldn't work with the ceramic H4 bulb holder I'd added onto my Eastern Beaver relay kit - Spot the deliberate mistake discovered by my mate Steve who knows how to wield the continuity function on a multimeter...

Wicky wrote:Sunny but frustrating day fitting Eastern beaver relay kit - sodden thing didn't work. Should be a plug&play item but bulb wouldn't light up despite relays clicking. Used multimeter to find diddly-squat output from bulb connector :? Little option but to unravel it and revert back to standard. While things were apart tried to fit 8mm quick release fuel connectors - no way with the slop in the 10mm ID hose would they have sealed securely

So only positive is some hidden parts are a little cleaner and nuts & bolts recopper-greasesed for when I can be arsed to go back in again...
