i'm mainly a bollox talker so put me down for lurking, i've got my stick coils to do, but if we don't get around to it, it won't be a problem.
i'll be bringing a couple of mugs with me mac (carl/simon)...........
only joking lads
see you all soon enough

and bvg, have a word with kev, he's coming down from your neck of the woods, not sure if you'll be able to keep up with his super fast blue bike tho

If they get done it'll be you doing the doing, so to speak, so only yourself to blame if they don't get done.

I'll bring all of the necessary, except the stick coils themselves and the wiring harnesses.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

But where's he going to stick his coil. :Stick:

I will bring my old generator cover cheese bolts with me. But anyone who's doing cct's it would be prudent to check you gene bolts before going. You never know, they may be seized.

Something made me click on that expecting some excitement.....but no it was boring, bit like fishing really IMO........

Murv have you made the decision yet whether to attend a one off day in a life time of meeting up with like minded Storming souls, having a good hoot, drinking tea, munching biccies, talking baldrocks & learning intimate details about the bike you ride......or sitting on your own on a muddy river bank drowning maggots :Fish: (something that you could do the following weekend BTW.) ??

Whatever you decide can I borrow your Abba stand for the day as you offered a while ago ? Ring or PM me so that we can arrange getting it here.

Mac

Murv you need to sort your life out, prioritise. Come along to the maintenance day and stare in wonderment at all the pretty colours and then look back in sadness at the drabness that is your storm. Just think you will get so depressed by that, you will feel like you are fishing anyway!!

Kev, you missed a fishing jibe there...

He could take photos of the pretty coloured bikes, then show the misses the ones that got away! :biggrin

Outrageous, cyber bullying, that's what this amounts to, like picking on the kid at school as he always had the best trainers :(
Much as I'd love to come and see a Blue 'storm up close, I'm worried that just by being to close to one it would slow the very fabric of time itself and I'd end up trapped and never make it to the rivers.
Kind of like a Black hole, but a Blue one, where the negative energy sucks all around it into a void of eternal slowness. It's a hell of a risk...

Mac, you certainly can use my stand, I was going to call in the week but I'll try and give you a ring this evening (when I say try and give you a ring, what I really mean is try not to forget!)
I also have my brand spankey new socket set I can bring over if that's of any use?
I really am torn as to what to do, I think the weather might play a part too but the shakes are getting worse and it's only 7 days, 16 hours, 20 mins and 53 seconds until potentially my first river cast of the season :D
I am thinking of alternatives though, I could hit the riverbank for 3am, fish 'til about 8:00 then hammer over for the workshop day. Spend the day on that, then rush home, grab all the kit and do an overnighter on the river.

anyway, will give you a ring to discuss

Where's the fun in that? I think Murv has the right idea, sitting by a desolate, river in the pishing rain, drowning a poor unsuspecting worm (probably a mate of Frank's as well!) staring miserably into a grey miserable river. In fact just the feeling he gets everytime he walks toward his grey miserable Storm.
Murv me old mucker don't fear the colour, embrace the colour.

ppppfffttt, embrace the colour? how can you embrace Blue? what if it were to rub off on my T-shirt? the shame of it!

Nope, they're all Silver underneath anyway, why fight it
Oh, and the worms don't mind drowning really, gives them a break from outdragging Blue bikes on a damp day :D

BSM I have been fishing on the lakes, which doesn't help with the shakes but does stop me from losing my mind for this painful three month period.
I would love a pop at those big whiskers on the Ebro though I must admit :cool2

That explains a great deal. Have you seen a gynecologist about your three month long period? Explains the mood swings, irrational behaviour.

I did, but he just looked at me funny then rushed over to admire my bike.
He did raise an interesting question though, whilst discussing brake lines. You see, I bought some new HEL lines to fit if I can make the workshop day but I bought them in carbon effect colour. He, quite rightly, pointed out that for maximum braking force I should've got them in Blue seeing as nothing will slow an object faster than it being Blue (I remember reading something about that in a physics book at school)
But, hopefully, they'll be OK.
