I am happy to lead the progressive group, and I think Flatty has been nominated for relaxed. but can we get some volunteers for Tail Gunners for each group.

The Tail gunner is the other key player in the 2nd rider drop off method for group riding [have a good read of Geodude's description which is a sticky in the rides section http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 14&t=25791] . he needs to know what the rules are when there is a breakdown, or someone leaves their junction marking before the end of the group arrives. so having a knowledge of the route, being able to contact the leader and having some experience of group riding and herding cats

final request is to get you thinking about which group you want to ride in, although that can be decided on the morning and we might even be able to swap groups at the lunch stop.

some will be there from Thursday night and there is usually a Friday ride south east to go meet up with the Essex orange chapter. also been known to nip out and ride Elan Vally road on Friday evening if the weather is nice
