Got lost after leaving Buckingham Palace, I heard Carl blast off and then got lost,
I heard a beep as the lights changed, checked my mirror and just caught you going off towards Victoria. I did wonder where you where going.

I thought maybe you where going to cut round the back and down Eaton Sq onto the Kings rd.
And before anyone...no he wasn't supposed to be following me.

Mainly rode it again apart form today, bit cold and windy today has been
clocked many miles on of late, was out with a few lads the other day and they couldn't believe the bike was an 06 they all thought it was a lot newer given its looks and its not got corrosion or rust etc
one lad was on the 749 duke, dam that bike has not aged well the rear just looked so dated with its lights, and his bike considering it was a summer bike was plastered with rust spots and if you think the storm has bad mirrors not once could i see his mirrors when he was in front of me on the motorway and he was only stick thin too!
got did it sound good tho on its Termignoni exhausts! phwarrrrrrrrrrrrr i miss the v twin sound track

thanks mate

Dave Brown was about when we stopped by the carousel on Friday
this guy was pointing bikes out to his small boy he had with him, my mate thought he was looking at his bike and the guy goes no son not that wreck the blue and white one look!
my mates face was priceless that his black gsxr 600 didnt get a look in
Proud the bike still looks 'as new' considering it gets used daily come rain or shine, people don't believe me when i say its used every day and has been through winter, wanted to clean it today as it's totally plastered from flies from riding through the lakes yesterday but its been mad windy here and spent the last hour sorting out a starter motor on a very shitty underside of an Hyundai accent

Road tested the new Arrow cans today, and feels like they have boosted the bottom to mid range power as it is wheeling more and the sweet spot to lift the front in 2nd is much wider that it used to be
Have to wait till a dyno day to see if there is any impact on the top end with the smaller bore link pipes, but I am enjoying the the ride so far
The new headers are going to have to be a priority as it looks like there is a crack starting round the weld at the back right hand side
Lloydie, it's gods way of telling us that I need to borrow those mori headers

Raised up the rear ride height by 2.5 mm on the WP shock, didn't get to try it though, i hope it works. I wanted a bit more weight on the front and hopefully it will turn in a little quicker.

Finally got my thumb out and started to make my (newish) storm less of a death trap (it was dead cheap because someone has smashed it up in the past, put some poop headlights on it and called it a street fighter - but I had to buy it because it made suuuuuch a nice noise - is there any other reason to buy a bike??)
Changed the brake and clutch fluid so it now stops, changed the R/R so it doesn't just stop, put in some relays and wiring and whatnot and wired the above mentioned crappy double headlights in parallel so that people can see me when the sun goes to bed, put some Titax leavers on it just because, rerouted some wiring so the bike looks less like there are nesting birds living in it and changed the rear brake reservoir so no more spinning screws.
Should probably have a look at the CCTs at some point soon but now there shall be beer.
