I totally stripped down an old fazer engine. One of the pistons had melted on one side and broke the rings and another two had really stiff, almost seized pins so they couldn't wobble freely. I had fun and games splitting the crankcases and then I found one more bolt that was hiding and stopping them coming apart. Made good use of the rattle gun, so pleased I bought that now. I'm using it more than I thought I would.

new CBR125 reg fitted. bought the newest, biggest one I could find. its even bigger than the R1 unit I removed.
looks to be charging nicely. not even sure the old one was fecked, but the heated grips getting hotter when i shut the throttle, so I was worried it was playing up

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
New Brembo Pads all round, cleaned the caliper pistons too before install, couldnt be arsed splitting them and doing a full clean again ill do that when i get new lines.
New oil Motul 300V as a lot of the gixxer guys recommended it, expensive as wombles but smells like Bananas which is nice.
New Oil filter K&N as it came with the oil in a deal. prefer a genuine Suzuki one but what ever.
New Plugs NGK CR9EIX wanted some BRISK ones but couldn't be arsed waiting for them
New Genuine Suzuki air filter
Also cleaned the Cam cover as it was so full of sh1t that gets flinged up from the front wheel, the fender is so short at back it gets flug up and over the radior, hits this flap thats under the head stock then goes backwards onto the cam cover aera, defo need a fender extender fitting
good news all the washing and bike protector spray (muc off) has kept the bike corrosion free, in its rides thorugh the winder, when i took the farings off the rads still looked as good as when i cleaned the corrosion up and polished to a mirror finish, also the engine was looking spot on too. PHEW.
Still need to do Coolant also as i forgot to get that! doh!!!
Got some part worn Dunlop D212 GP Pro 190 55 (as opposed to the standard 190 55) and 120 70, next time is a sunny fortnight ill get them on to see what i make of the 190 55 reports are they make the bike a lot better with the rounder profile and more edge grip when lent over

That's really good news. I was a little concerned when you first got it and said about everything rusting so quickly.good news all the washing and bike protector spray (muc off) has kept the bike corrosion free, in its rides thorugh the winder, when i took the farings off the rads still looked as good as when i cleaned the corrosion up and polished to a mirror finish, also the engine was looking spot on too.
