I like the "Goose Necks" as you call them. i may prefer the black cans on though, the BlueFlames do sound really good too.

problem was the lamps was like 6 quid each, but for 10 meter of wire they wanted 17 quid or there about, so limit to what i could use so went as straight as possible to the plug outlet

probably make it look better tomorrow, was sort of a rush job as i started it at 8pm and it was a bit nippy and wet so got fed up with it half way through

the light cast is impressive tho

go check how fast your electric meter is going round too. Halogens use the juice. They are good but do cast shadows.

I was gona fit led ones, but these are just for use when washing the bike at night or doing some maintenance etc not got them on as security lights so they wont be on very much

Refitted the hydraulic clutch now I know the cable one works .
Topped the oil up as it's used a bit :-( .
Ordered a brand new fuel pump and fuel pipe

Bought myself a new lid got a hic with inflatable cheek pads so I will always have a snug fit. Bargain price, from 250 quid down to 130 also treated myself to some fancy ear plugs.

Refitted the front wheel and battery and ran the bike for the first time in 3 months, started to refit some plastics, then MOT next week.

FINALLY, put her all back together after a long time fettling.
'99 front end on, renthal bars, rear shock.
took her out for a 40 mile shake down to see what needs re doing: not a lot.
sort out the wiring at the front as keep pulling the horn wires out, looks untidy.
also forgot to fit the belly pan.
have a play with the suspension, not sure if it's just me readjusting but seams fine right out the bag, can only get better.

she still looks a bag of crap and the front mudguard needs repainting, but that can wait for now. maybe its cause this is teal that it wont turn in???

on a serious note, do people still run with a rear shock spacer on non standard shocks?
I would put up picks, but everyone knows im inept at that

Yeah people still use the shock spacer on standard shocks but your best bet will always be a aftermarket shock.

Yep 3mm spacer if the front standard forks have been worked on with new springs and dropped 5mm.

Slightly less "Wheelbarrow" as Lloydie would say. TBH i do like the BlueFlames, there good cans i did try them with my other low link pipes and they did look and sound fab.
